Citizenship by naturalization requirements
Citizenship of Moldova can be granted on request to persons aged 18 years and who have:
- lived in Republic of Moldova for at least 3 years;
- has resided lawfully for at least 3 years with parents or children;
- has lived in Moldova for five years before reaching the age of 18;
- Is a stateless or a recognized refugee and has resided the territory of Moldova for at least eight years;
Knowledge of the national language and the provisions of the Constitution by the applicant for citizenship of Moldova shall be tested as determined by the Government.
Fees
Government processing fee:
- For the main applicant: 5000€;
- For spouse: 2500€;
- For children under 15: 1000€ / person;
- For children aged 16-29 years: 2000€ / person;
- For dependent parents above 55: 5000€ / person.
Due diligence fee:
- For the main applicant: 6000€;
- For spouse, dependent children older than 16 years, and dependent parents: 5000€ / person.
Biometric passport fees:
- 300€ / person.
